SAFER SPEED SERBIA BY OPEL CLUB SERBIA



Opel Club Serbia (OPCS) invites You to be our gueste at our annual meeting which is due to take place at Pionirski Grad in Belgrade, 20th September.
Besides competition, attendants will have the opportunity to try simulators (impact, rolling) which will be provided by National Driving Academy of Serbia
Competition part starts at 14h and continues till 18h. At 19h its party time with food and drinks and also live music.
The idea of this meeting is to promote safer traffic.
All guests coming from other countries will have an escort from OPCS members to the hotel.
There is two types of accomodation. First one is the camping at the meeting location (You should provide tents and sleeping-bags for Yourselves). Second one is Hotel Kamp (2km nearby).
Room with two beds with breakfast costs 5030din (about 63 euros) or 2514din (32 euros each).
Room with three beds costs 5842din (about 74 euros) or 1950din (26 euros each). Additional price for breakfast is 300din (about 3,5 euros).
OPCS can guarantee some places in that hotel but we need You to inform us not later then
4th September 2008. at 14h.
Food and drinks at the meeting costs 1000din (about 10 euros) and they will be payed at the meeting. (includes dinner and drinks all day)

There are two big stores nearby, 24h open, (Maxi discount and store Banovo Brdo). Also there is McDrive (McDonald s DriveIn) nearby, 24h open.

At 12h it is planned to go the meeting place (Pionirski Grad)
At 13h, guests which stay at Hotel, will check in and then they ll go to the meeting place.

Speed limit in highway is 120km/h,on lokal roads is 60-80km/h.Our cops are not best but there are no big problems with them...If you go from Sofia etc. there are 480km to Belgrade.Most of that trip is highway,so there shoud be no problem...

I doubt that few (or none) of us would go... If i had the possibility, i`d go. Unfortunatelly the distance between here and Belgrade is about 1000km. in the one direction, 2000 total (not all the members live in Sofia :) ) Too much (money) drain for most of us. :/
However, i`m really glad it crossed your mind to invite us. Hope you`re gonna have a great time, and don`t forget to post pics after the meeting

I understand that trip is so long,I been in Varna for exampe...Actualy I been in Burgas,Varna,Nesebar,Sunny Beach,Golden sands,Plovdiv,Sofia...and I know how many km are there...

If someone can come that will be realy nice...

But I see something similar with our forum - that blond girl Tikica /Urednik OPCS/ may be is like our Kaka ... well well, not so different it's a matter of fact yeaah, interesting pictures! :) And what the fuck means "koza na volanu", because in Bulgarian it sounds like "Goat on the steering wheel"

Thanks for the invitation.I hope not to miss the event unless something popup at the last moment (still have one month within then). There are, however, two conditions for my arrival - the first one is not to be the only one from Bulgaria (come on guys don't disappoint me)because I don't want to travel alone and the second one is to get one of your Opel T-shirts, if it is possible of course. :mhihi:I appeal for more BG activity, because such an event does not happen every day, and I believe it will be pleasant for anyone of us.The money also won't be that great problem I hope, if more people get in one car and share the fuel.Also 22th of september is an official holiday in BG so we can have one more day outside our country for a walk in Belgrade.

Призовавам повече хора за активност, защото такова събитие не се случва всеки ден, а и смятам, че ще бъде приятно и полезно за нас.Парите не са кой знае колко много, ако се кооперираме повече хора за колите, а и 22 септември е национален празник и ще се почива така, че ще имаме още един ден за разходка из Белград.

Hahaha,"koza na volanu" have the same meening like on Bulgarian-"Goat on steering wheel" hahaha,but "koЕѕa na volanu" means "leather steereng wheel"

You can count on me on 90%.I have to make some arrangements for the car like international insurance and if everything is OK I will come.I am also interested about the roads in Serbia.Are the roads better or worse than Bulgarian because I want to choose a car to come with?The other question I have is about the payment of the roads.How is the system organized?I want to call you for the reservations of the hotel so can you give me a cell phone or ground line number.

The roads are little better then in Bulgaria.We don't have "vineta" like you,our highroad have paytall,you pay on the highway,not on the border like you.
